Instructions:
Creating the Petals:
- Align the Airhead candy to where it’s in the middle of the candy wrapper
- Lightly puncture a bamboo skewer through the wrapper and into the taffy, careful not to pierce all the way through
- Twist the other side of the airhead around so that the it’s overlapping the side of the airhead that has the skewer in it
- Use the floral wire to secure the airhead in place around the skewer and tighten
- Repeat until you have 5-6 petals
Putting the Petals Together:
- Taking two petals at a time, use the green tape to combine them together
- Take one or two the petals and the green tape and combine the lollipop to the petals
- Using the green tape, carefully hold all the petals around the lollipop and tape together securely. Tape for about three inches down the bamboo skewers
Attach the Artificial Flower:
- Grab the artificial flower and hold it against the Airhead Flower until you’ve got it into a position you like
- Use the green tape to combine the artificial flower to the Airhead Flower and tape all the way down the bamboo skewers until the entire flower stem is green
- Pull the tape tightly at the end so it stays secure. You can also use regular tape to reinforce the bottom tape piece.
And that’s it! You’ve got a beautiful floral gift you can use for any celebratory event!
